Our Mission

 

Meeting the needs who have inadequate food resources in the name of Jesus Christ

Our mission is simple, to alleviate hunger and promote hope by providing nutritious food and essential resources to individuals and families in need. We are committed to serving our community with compassion, dignity, and respect. Ensuring that no one goes hungry and that every person has the opportunity to thrive, we do this in the name of Jesus Christ.  We believe that when we feed the hungry we are truly feeing Jesus.

Our Programs

1. Monthly Food pantry:  Our longest running food program provides a monthly food distribution to individuals and families on the 3rd Tuesday of each month at 4:00pm.

2. BackSnack Program: During the school year and in conjunction with Lovington Municipal schools, students experiencing food insecurities are provided weekend food relief. Ensuring access to food over the weekend.

3. Roadrunner Distribution: We have partnered with The Road Runner Food Bank of New Mexico to delivers pounds of food to the community at a monthly distribution, held on the campus of Church of the Nazarene on the 2nd Thursday of each month.
